Atlanta Marathon 2020
I ran the Atlanta Marathon in March through Destination Marathons and had a wonderful experience. They really took care of everything from organizing a shakeout run, two nights of dinners, a race morning tent and after the marathon they had drinks and food for us. I highly recommend using them.

Kiawah Island Marathon 2019
I joined the DM crew for the Kiawah Island Marathon / Half Marathon last December. Mark and his team really did a good job of planning out the details and making the entire race weekend easy and enjoyable. I’m pretty low maintenance, but I watched them go out of their way to accommodate other guests who had unique circumstances (for example dealing with food allergies or helping with childcare during the race). They take care of things and make the trip a great time for everyone

Atlanta Marathon 2020
Mark, Paul, and company were amazing hosts in Atlanta at the Olympic Marathon Trials in February.
Great hotel location at start/finish line, cool goodie bags, hospitality suite, super location with private space with food/beverages to watch the marathon trials, and overall it was perfect.
I will definitely use them when race travel resumes!
Thanks to you guys and your rockstar team!

Kiawah Island Marathon 2019
A group of us used Destination Marathons during our trip to Kiawah Island for the marathon weekend. They did a wonderful job with logistics, location, checkin, food, perks, information, and making us feel like real VIP's. Race morning we had a personal tent and gear check just for our group. Post race included a personal massage. It was so great meeting up with everyone in our designated area with snacks, chairs, drinks, and massage rollers provided by DM. After the race we had ample room in our Condo to stretch out in the living room, play a board game, watch tv, have a few people take a shower while others ate a snack in the kitchen, etc. Between the friends who booked various hotels, and the friends who stayed in the condo, our entire group agreed we'll be booking with DM in the future. We've even looked where DM is going next, just so we can plan a trip through DM. They truly make a trip top notch and allow you to enjoy your vacation. We loved everything and are thrilled to book with them in the future!

Marine Corps Marathon 2019
Destination Marathons is fantastic! I traveled with them to Marine Corps Marathon and had an awesome time. They took care of all of the logistics so that I could enjoy the race weekend. The hotel was within walking distance of the start/finish line, restaurants, grocery store, etc. The itinerary and resources provided were helpful in planning things like getting to the expo, sightseeing, and the pre-race meal. When the forecast called for rain on race day, Mark got everyone ponchos to wear to the start line. Would highly recommend. I’ve already booked my next race trip with Destination Marathons!
FAQ'S
Do you provide any transportation for the weekend?
No. The start line shuttle, finish line, and expo are all within walking distance to the hotel. We recommend an Uber for transportation from the airport.
How do we get back to the hotel after the race?
With our hotel’s central location, it’s an easy walk back.
Do I have to register my guests even if they’re not running?
Yes! DM guests have access to all the VIP perks as our runners. To ensure they receive all our great services, we ask that you let us know who you’re bringing at time of registration. Of course, if your guest plans change, that’s no problem at all! Just let us know and we can make those revisions. But it is important that all guests, even non-runners, register in advance.
How will spectators find their runners at the end of the race?
Pick a landmark in Canal Park or meet at the DM post race party TBD.
Can we add additional nights onto our stay?
Sure! Please reach out if you would like to add nights prior to or after our package dates. Of course, guests are free of charge for those additional nights!
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, kids 15 and under are welcome on any of our packages for free, provided they stay in your room.
What if I have food allergies?
Please notify us of any dietary restrictions you have so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Do the single rooms have a sleeper sofa?
No, the single rooms do not include a living area with sleeper sofa. The foyer space from the shared outdoor hallway entrance leads into a private King bedroom and a private bedroom with 2 Queen beds, each with its own private bathroom attached.
