DESTINATION MARATHONS AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Program Information
Destination Marathons is on the hunt for individuals who are passionate about running and racing, the DM brand, and who want to share that passion with others. We will look to our Ambassadors to help spread the word about who we are and what we do!

Our Ambassadors have been selected for 2023! Applications for our program will reopen in the fall of 2023. Please contact Carolyn Renick at carolyn@destination-marathons.com with any inquiries.

Kickoff
- We will post about you on our Facebook and Instagram accounts, announcing your ambassadorship. Woot woot!
- We would like you to either share our post, or post something of the same nature on your social media accounts to announce your ambassadorship.
- Share the attached DM Ambassador badge on your social media pages with pride!
- You’ll be sent a DM brand welcome kit with DM swag. We ask that you wear our swag while out training, in your social media posts, and at races. You will have opportunities to earn additional swag along the way!
Expectations
- 1 DM post per calendar month for 1 year (but more posts are always appreciated) on most used social media platforms.
- On most-used platform
- Share posts off the DM social media platforms
- Picture should feature our logo (on a t-shirt, coffee mug, etc)
- Positive mention of Destination Marathons somewhere in post
- Use of our hashtag #Destinationmarathons #DMAmbassador in posts
- Our Ambassadors serve as both race representatives and our consulting team – we look to you for feedback, tips, and new ideas!
- Tune into a quarterly meeting to learn insider information. Time and date TBD.
- Attend periodic social and virtual events as a representative of Destination Marathons.
- Represent our brand at Destination Marathon events, including race expos.
Benefits & Perks
- For your first trip with Destination Marathons as an ambassador, you will receive a $100 discount.
- Each ambassador gets a unique promo code for $50 off any package we sell.
- When someone uses your code, you get a $50 DM credit! These can accumulate and do not expire. They are not redeemable for cash.
- Working at an expo or in volunteer positions, you can earn credit towards a future event.
- Hosting a group run or party (15+ people) to promote an event is good for a $50 DM credit.
- Recruiting over five people to sign up for an event during your term as an ambassador will result in a special ambassador item.
- Ambassadors get early access to sign up for race packages.
- DM will profile each ambassador on our social media page, highlighting them.
- Opportunity to travel with the Destination Marathons team as Event Staff at select races and earn $150 a day.
